Sweet Potatoes - Baked

COOK TIME 35 to 45 minutes

TOTAL TIME 50 minutes

Sweet potatoes are a staple in Jamaican's diet. This root vegetable is a superfood packed with nutrients. To list a few; taste great, natural anti-inflamitory agents, Excellent source of potassium, vitamin C, etc... Enjoy!



  • 2-3 Large Sweet Potatoes

  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp seasoning salt or to taste (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp Oregano and/or cilantro


  1. Peel and Wash potatoes

  2. Cut potatoes into random sizes no bigger than 2"

  3. Mix in all other ingredients and place in an Oven bake ware and cover

Cook 🔥
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Place on the middle rack and bake for approx 35-40 minutes or until the potatoes are to your desired texture.or softness

  3. Stir Occasionally for even coverage

  4. Remove and let rest uncovered.
